• Black Heritage Week was celebrated recently with a whole menu of lunch hour activities, including a skit on Monday, a drum-making demonstration by Lee Darryl Henderson on Tuesday, a demonstration on personal hair care on Wednesday, a film on Thursday and highlighted by a buffet luncheon on Friday prepared by mothers Doris Davis, Nettie Long and Doris Wahington.
