• German soup supper was planned by the ladies from the First Mennonite Church. Ladies in charge of the meal were Matilda Sawatzky, Rachel Schmidt, Mary Jane Heinrichs, Betty Quiring, Bettye Hinz, Marilyn Isaac, Christye Steigman and Joanie Quiring.
