We are proud that more than 76% of the voters in the Clinton school district voted yes on this week’s school bond issue!
While we celebrate the victory, we must once again question Oklahoma's supermajority law requiring that at least 60% of voters must vote yes to approve a school bond issue and only 40% have to vote no to defeat it. To us, anything but a simple majority seems anti-American.
