Hoping this will be the last time

The City of Clinton’s mask ordinance that was put in place Nov. 17 to try and help slow the spread of COVID-19 will expire at the end of this month – unless the city council votes to extend it.

The week prior to the city enacting the mask ordinance, there had been a total of 684 COVID-19 cases resulting in two deaths in Clinton during the first eight months of the pandemic.
