Workers are the backbone of Clinton

For many people Labor Day is the end of summer, a day off from work, or a reason to have a backyard barbecue.

On June 28, 1894, Congress passed an act making the first Monday in September a legal holiday to recognize contributions workers had made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being.

That is something we should do on this Labor Day.
