CO2 gun, drug paraphernalia nets alleged charges

A Clinton man was recently arrested after being found in possession of two meth pipes and a CO2 pistol following a felony conviction.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Colby Sander was patrolling around 9:49 p.m. April 3 in Clinton when he observed a silver Dodge pickup on 5th Street with a defective cab brake light. The vehicle turned west on Frisco without using a turn signal, then turned north on 6th Street, still not using a turn signal, and not coming to a complete stop at the stop sign.

Trooper Sander initiated the traffic stop on 6th Street near Gary Boulevard and made contact with the occupants, a man and woman, who were noted as seeming nervous in the report. The trooper also noted that the woman was not wearing a seatbelt.
