Pair sought for alleged tool theft

Warrants have been issued for Charlenne Donna Lucero-Medina, aka Charlene Donna Cordova, 34, of Weatherford, and Brant Coda Wassana, 33, of Elk City, after the pair was allegedly caught on security cameras stealing $1,532.96 worth of power tools from Atwoods.

Kansas driver hurt in accident

A 29-year-old Kansas driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday evening northeast of Custer City.According to a report filed by Trooper Colby Sander of Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Troop H, the injured individual was Cameron D. Leslie, 29, of Bonner Springs, Kan.

Sheriff ’s office gets large grant

The Custer County Sheriff’s Office was recently awarded a $250,000 grant for the third year in a row. Each county across the state received grants, each of which was either $300,000, $250,000, or $150,000. In total, the Attorney General’s office awarded $18 million in grant funding.
