Memorial Day observance set

Former Clinton Regional Hospital CEO Len Lacefield will receive $52,500 from the Clinton Hospital Authority as dictated by terms reached in a settlement agreement between the two parties.The settlement agreement was announced after an executive session conducted during Tuesday’s authority meeting.

Authority agrees to settlement with former CEO

Tuesday’s special meeting of the Clinton Regional Hospital Authority began with an executive session, which began at 12:02 p.m. and ended at 12:07 p.m. for a total of five minutes in regard to a settlement agreement with former CEO Len Lacefield. The public and press were barred from attending.

Chanda Shepherd has been named the new principal for Arapaho-Butler Elementary School.Shepherd has been teaching for 26 years, and 13 of those years have been with the A-B school system. Since the transfer to A-B schools, she started training with the idea to go into leadership.
