Owning the historic keys of the ‘King’

Clinton local Kent Dewees recently discovered, or rather rediscovered, several pieces of memorabilia surrounding the former Trade Winds Motel, and the suite that, “The King of Rock and Roll,” Elvis Presley would stay in during his travels along Route 66.

According to officials, the plan for construction at Red Wheat Drive has been revised and finalized, with an outlook that will keep all businesses open during the construction period – though, motorists are urged to pay extra attention in that area while construction is happening.
