Months after a plea was made to the City of Clinton in regard to the deteriorating condition of the original Route 66 heading westward within the city limits, the Clinton City Council accepted an ordinance amending the original annexation of the property dating back to Oct. 16, 2001, and will now look at options to begin repair work.
