Friday’s Cinco de Mayo parade and Saturday’s Festival in Clinton was everything the organizers wanted.
Chuy Torres, one of the organizers of the event, said Clinton was one of three cities in the state that organized a Cinco de Mayo event along with Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Friday’s parade had 33 entries, which is more than past years, Torres said, adding he was impressed with some of the entries.
