Despite the best efforts of the Clinton Fire Department and Sinor EMS personnel to save it, an adult German Shepherd died Monday at a trailer home fire west of town.
The call rang out at 8:14 a.m. Monday of smoke pouring out of a home at 10363 N. 2202 Rd., located north of State Highway 73, about 5 miles west of Clinton.
“A neighbor called it in,” said Capt. Blake Shaddon.
