Southall readies for new post

Brad Southall was recently named the next superintendent for Arapaho-Butler Public Schools. He said he is excited for his new role and feels confident for a smooth changing of the guard.

Southall has been in education for more than 26 years. He originally taught in Sentinel for three years before transferring to Arapaho- Butler Schools, finding it a place he wanted to stay. Southall has been with A-B Schools for 23 years and served as the elementary principal for 21 of those years.

During that time he has been a history teacher, driver’s ED instructor, athletic director, coach of girls’ basketball and softball, elementary principal, and now superintendent. “I’m passionate about Arapaho-Butler Schools and the successes of our students,” he said.
