CRH not expected to ask for cash

The Clinton Regional Hospital Authority met Wednesday to discuss a few items of business and one particularly good bit of news: the hospital is cash positive as of this month and will not need to turn to the City of Clinton for assistance for January.

Stabbing suspect claims molestation happened

Charges have been filed against a Clinton man after an alleged stabbing.Officers were dispatched around 9:28 a.m. Jan. 10 to a home on Lombardy Place.

Winter Reading program underway

Although many see the back nine of the winter season as nothing more than waiting for spring to arrive, Western Plains Library System is taking the time to encourage adults to read books with its 2026 WPLS Winter Reading Challenge.
