City approves purchase of easement

At Tuesday night’s meeting of the Clinton City Council – the first of the new year – Clinton Economic Development Authority Trustee Russ Meacham elaborated on the need for the acquisition of the easement next to Locke Supply.

CHS vocalists earn All-State honors

After weeks spent rehearsing music and preparing for auditions throughout the first school semester, Clinton Middle School and Clinton High School’s choir programs are set to send as many as nine Clinton students to participate in the Oklahoma Junior High All-State on Jan.

Suspect charged with alleged theft from retailer

Rowdy Rod Gubitz, 38, of Clinton, is facing charges after allegedly stealing merchandise and cash from one Walmart location and attempting to receive cash for stolen items from another Walmart location. Weatherford Police were dispatched to the Weatherford Walmart at 9:55 a.m. Nov.
