County property tax bills mailed

Last week, 2025 property taxes were mailed out to Custer County residents, and property owners should be on the lookout for those documents.The first half of the payment is due Dec. 31, according to Custer County Treasurer Janet Roulet, as long as the total is more than $25.

Hospital CEO details REH transition

While the REH certification is official for Clinton Regional Hospital, there are a few details that are yet to be ironed out. CEO Len Lacefield spoke with the Clinton Daily News Tuesday morning to discuss where the situation is at currently and what the next steps are.

Homicide victim is identified

The identity of the man shot and killed Friday morning in Weatherford and charges for the suspect have been updated by the Weatherford Police Department.Dead is Landon Whitley, 24, of Weatherford, according to a press release issued by Chief Angelo Orefice.

Fuerza Latina Clinton to host meal
