Arson charges filed after cut line

Clinton Police officers were dispatched at 12:53 p.m. Wednesday to 614 Hayes Ave., where they were greeted by smoke pouring from the house.The initial call, placed to the Clinton Fire Department, reported a gas line had been cut, and that the person inside the home was making suicidal statements.
