North Carolina man may have killed his children over several months

SMITHFIELD, N.C.(AP) — The North Carolina man accused of killing four of his children after human remains were found inside the trunk of a vehicle at their home appears to have spread the slayings over several months, a sheriƒ said Wednesday.

CASA installs new advocates to help further its mission

A group known as the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Western Oklahoma recently finished training six new volunteers for towns across western Oklahoma, including one from Clinton, to advocate for children who end up in courtrelated situations.
