Authority turns contract matter over to city attorney

Only one official item was on the agenda Wednesday for the Clinton Hospital Authority’s special meeting at Clinton Regional. It was an 18-minute executive session including the authority and City Attorney Ryan Meacham with the public and press barred from attending.

CPS seeks to ‘THRIVE’ in alternative

Clinton Public Schools is planning on implementing a new option for instruction called THRIVE Academy. It’s an alternative option attempting to meet more needs.Assistant Supt. Melissa Knabe talked about what THRIVE looks like, and some of the possibilities it provides to students and families.

Bill increasing minimum instructional days signed into law

Rep. Rob Hall, R-Tulsa, and Pro Tem Lonnie Paxton, R-Tuttle, recently commented on the signing of House Bill 3151, a measure to increase the minimum number of instructional days for certain public schools while maintaining current instructional hour requirements.
