Bad pump closes pool for few days

The Clinton Municipal Pool at McLain Rogers Park is temporarily closed due to a pump failure. Originally, City and park officials hoped to have the issue repaired by Thursday afternoon, but the necessary replacement was more difficult to find than anticipated.“Good news and bad news.

Fire at D&D

Monday morning large plumes of black smoke lofted up into the blue sky as the shop area at D&D Used Cars & Service Center at 22496 E. 1070 Rd. was ablaze. In the photo above, two Clinton firemen cross streams at the large shop area opening. It is believed nobody was injured during the fire.
