CHS Class of 1975 to conduct reunion

The Clinton High School Class of 1975 will have a reunion on this weekend, which will include a mixer on Friday night, dinner on Saturday night, and brunch Sunday morning, to celebrate 50 years since graduation.The main event is the class dinner, which will take place at 6 p.m.

Weather crimps plans for county commissioners

Recent weather continues to be a mixed blessing throughout the county, with holdups to construction and continued concerns for local wheat crops.“The grass is growing faster than we can mow,” said Dist. 3 Commissioner Lyle Miller.

Plans being developed for ‘Ice District’

With no businesses occupying the buildings for the former ice plant near downtown Clinton, plans are being made to revitalize the area into a new “Ice District.”Jason Smith, who is spearheading this project, spoke on the history and goals for the area.
