Property tax sale to be held Monday

The Custer County Property Tax Sale will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Custer County Courthouse in Arapaho, and will either be outside or in the hallway, depending on the weather and number of attendees. As per Oklahoma statute, the sale is cash-only.

Museum still draws numbers

With the summer season making its way, the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum is seeing a large number of visitors coming from all over to learn more about the historic highway.

Local ODOT office receives safety award

At the Oklahoma Transportation Commission’s June meeting in Oklahoma City on Monday, June 2, District Engineer Brent Almquist and Safety Manager Kenneth Carlisle were awarded the 2024 Progressive Excellence Award on behalf of Dist. Five, which is headquartered in Clinton.

New CT scanner to be installed next week at hospital

Clinton Regional Hospital’s newest major equipment purchase was officially ratified Wednesday during the Clinton Hospital Authority meeting.At last week’s meeting the authority was informed that the hospital’s CT scanner had given up the ghost and that a new one needed to be purchased.
