Trial is delayed for mental health reasons

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — A man charged in the fatal stabbing of a Ukrainian refugee on a North Carolina commuter train cannot currently stand trial because of his mental illness and will undergo medical treatment to try to restore his competency, a federal judge ruled Tuesday.Decarlos Brown Jr.

Man allegedly attacks woman with lawn chair

An outstanding warrant has been issued for the arrest of a local man after he allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend in an alleyway with a lawn chair.According to the affidavit of probable cause reported by Ofc. Braeden Blanchard, Clinton Police officers were dispatched at 1:46 a.m.
