Two Pennsylvania firefighters killed in vehicle collision

(AP) — Two firefighters traveling in a utility vehicle along a Pennsylvania road during a search for a missing woman were killed in a headon crash with a car, officials said.The two members of the Walnuttown Fire Company died after the crash with a Toyota Camry at about 6 p.m.

Appeals court lets Iowa enforce restrictions on LGBTQ+ topics

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa can enforce a law that restricts teachers from talking about LGBTQ+ topics with students in kindergarten through the sixth grade and bans some books in libraries and classrooms, an appellate court said Monday.

Yellowstone field study connects SWOSU students to earlier research

Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) students returned to Yellowstone National Park in March 2026, nearly 90 years after a 1936 expedition that documented the same landscape as part of the university’s early field studies.
