ELGIN – A quick turnaround from a pair of tough games Thursday against Woodward ended in a road sweep of the Elgin Owls Friday night for the Clinton basketball program.
The Clinton boys (10-5 overall) rebounded from a 16-point loss to the No. 16 Boomers, by upsetting No. 14 Elgin (11-8), 51-45, for their fourth ranked win of the year. CHS won the turnover battle and played solid defense.
