WEATHERFORD – The Clinton Lady Reds brought home the consolation bracket crown after upending Booker T. Washington’s junior varsity squad 43-38 Saturday afternoon.
With 2:20 remaining in the first quarter, Carmella Jefferson hit a layup to go over 1,000 career points.
Clinton trailed 12-9 after the first quarter and 26-21 at halftime before settling in.
