CLINTON – The Class 4A No. 20 Clinton Red Tornadoes earned a 54-42 home victory over Elgin Tuesday evening.
The game was 7-6 in favor of the hosts after the first quarter. Clinton stretched its lead to 28-17 by halftime.
Caden Powell led the Red Tornadoes with nine first half points. Powell finished with a gamehigh 20 points.
