CLINTON – Senior Carmella Jefferson signed a letter of intent Thursday to play basketball at Otero College (Colo.).
Jefferson guided the Lady Reds to a 14-13 record and an appearance in the Class 4A area playoffs.
In her final season in maroon and gold, Jefferson averaged 11.6 points per game and joined the 1,000-point club. She averaged 3.7 assists and 2.3 steals in 19 games.
