CLINTON – Clinton baseball held a 4-0 lead through six innings and eventually fell to Weatherford 8-4 Monday evening in a non-district affair.
The Reds jumped out to a 1-0 lead after the first inning.
Aaron Seabolt’s groundout to the Weatherford first baseman allowed Grady Gaunt to touch home. Gaunt led off the inning with a walk before stealing second and third.
