Clinton tennis hosts Route 66 tourney

CLINTON – Clinton tennis hosted the Route 66 Tournament Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Reds placed second as a team, finishing behind Chisholm.

In girls’ No. 1 doubles, Kenzie Kauk and Rachelle Sanchez took first after upending Chisholm in three sets (6-2, 6-7, 10-4).

In girls’ No. 2 doubles, Madison Atchley and Blair Hunter beat Weatherford in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) for a first-place finish.
