CLINTON – Clinton baseball defeated Elgin 19-16 in a non-district matchup Friday evening.
Harrison Crumley led the club with a 4-for-4 performance. The senior tallied one triple and four RBIs. His RBI-single in the first inning gave the Reds a 1-0 lead. Clinton would not trail in the high scoring affair.
Grady Gaunt, Caden Powell, Mason Walpole and Ivan Trout produced three hits apiece.
