The Clinton competition cheer squad took part in the Class 4A Regional this past weekend in Jay.
CHS finished with a total score of 429.6 points for the event, which put them 26th place in the standings.
They scored 150.8 in the fight song, 176.6 in crowd leading and 107.2 in band dance, but were deducted five points during the event, which caused them to just miss out on qualifying for state.
