The Clinton Lady Reds varsity golf team took first place in its annual tournament with a score of 339, 31 strokes over archrival Weatherford in second place Thursday at Riverside Golf Course.
The JV team for Clinton came in third place in the competition with a scorecard of 375.
While he saw things his team could work on, Coach Mike Lee said he isn’t shocked by his team scoring the way they did.
