• A first-place plaque was earned by a team of Washington sixth-graders from Clinton who helped the Clinton Middle School finish second in overall sweepstakes competition at a CMS Academic Meet. The sixth-grade team members included John Hough, Chance Cruson, Rodney Skinner, Tucker Pool, Matt Ruyle, Brandon Lewellen, Chris Pool, and Jamila Mohammad.
