Pamela S. Roush, 77, of Arapaho, Oklahoma, went home to Jesus on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Pam was born on September 30, 1947, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Lawrence and Jacqueline (Harmon) Steiner. She was raised in Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1965. Pam continued her education at Oklahoma State University, earning a degree in Education in 1969. During her time at OSU, she was an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Oklahoma in 1970.
On May 23, 1970, Pam married the love of her life, Clint Roush, at the First Baptist Church in Weatherford. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and service. Pam was a devoted follower of Christ and a member of EDGE Church. She was deeply engaged in her community. Her heart for volunteerism shined through her work with P.E.O., the Worthwhile Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, and most notably as a CASA volunteer, where she advocated for and mentored foster children — maintaining lifelong relationships with those she served. Pam was named the Volunteer of the Year by Multi-County Youth Services and was admired for her strength, compassion, and fierce independence.
