With the start of the school year, it also brings a new era to the Clinton Lady Reds softball team as it prepares for the new season under first-year coach Michael Deatherage.
The Lady Reds kick off the season Monday when they head to Altus to take on the Lady Bulldogs at 5 p.m.
For Deatherage, he said everyone around the program is ready to get the season going.
