To begin the new cross country season, Clinton headed into enemy territory Saturday to participate in the Weatherford meet.
For Coach Ashley Griffith, she said she believed they did well for the first race of the season.
“I think we did really well overall,” she said. “I think it set us up for improvement, which is always good.
“I was pleased with how all of our runners performed this weekend.”
