With the Clinton Lady Reds softball team (4-7) looking for answers on offense, something woke up in the players, as they took down the Bishop McGuiness Lady Irish 12-7 Tuesday at home.
For Coach Michael Deatherage, he said he was proud to see his girls come out and play the way they did, especially after two straight shutout losses.
“I thought they played great tonight,” he said. “We came off back-to-back shutout losses to Elk City and Weatherford. We played well, we just could not get any runs across the plate or string runs together.
