Red Tornadoes look to sting Yellowjackets

After a much needed open week for the Clinton Red Tornado football team (0-1), the program will be hitting the road Friday and heading to Kingfisher to take on the Yellowjackets with kickoff set for 7 p.m.

For Clinton’s acting head coach Gene Ray, he said having no game last week was a blessing, as they were able to work on improving areas of concern in their gameplan.

“The off week was beneficial to us as a program, as we look to rebound after the Heritage Hall game,” he said. “We got to spend time to reevaluate some things in our gameplan and also we have to make sure that we are always putting our kids in the best position to be successful.”
