To wrap up the 2025 home schedule, the Clinton Lady Reds softball team (8-18) fell Monday to the El Reno Lady Indians 7-3.
When thinking about his girls’ performance against El Reno, Coach Michael Deatherage said there is one big thing he has noticed as the season has progressed that they need to work on.
“We have got to stop having that one inning where we let it get away from us,” he said. “We tend to have that type of inning every game and it just happened too late in this game where we weren’t able to overcome it. If we take away that five-run inning for them, it is a 3-2 game and we win.
