Indians’ baseball season ends in state playoffs

The Arapaho-Butler Indians baseball team (23-8) fell 7-1 to the Navajo Indians in the first round of the Class A State Baseball Tournament Thursday in Shawnee to end its season.

Looking back on the game, A-B’s coach Bryan Holt said it just wasn’t their day.

“Today, we just did not have our best stuff,” he said. “At this level, especially when you get to the state tournament, you have to be sharp and we weren’t sharp today.
