The Clinton Red Tornado football team (4-3, 4-0) continued its district winning streak Thursday night in Woodward, as the team took down the Boomers (2-5, 1-3) 14-3 in a slugfest.
For Clinton’s acting coach Gene Ray, he said even though they got the win, it wasn’t how he wanted it to happen.
“We got the result that we wanted,” he said. “It was not the way we planned it though. We have got to be better with locking in, being mentally focused and better prepared if we want to continue on this season.”
