Throughout a large portion of this season, one face had been missing from the sidelines for the Clinton Red Tornado football team.
Head Coach John Higbee missed a lot of the season due to surgery on his neck right before the season started and Coach Gene Ray stepped in to fill the void until Higbee was able to return.
For Higbee, he said he knew right away Ray was the person to fill in during his absence from the team.
