After back-to-back home games to open the season, both Clinton basketball programs headed west on I-40 Tuesday for a match-up with Elk City.
The Reds (2-1) used a strong third quarter to overcome a nine-point deficit to beat the Elk 49-46.
The Lady Reds (0-3) fell 54-22 to the Elkettes after they were held to two points in the second quarter.
