The third annual Emma Jordan Christmas will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at H.O.S.T. Ministries on 605 Avant Ave.
Event organizer Jackie Ledbetter is the daughter of the late Emma Jordan, who was a pioneer within the eastside community of Lincoln Addition and petitioned Congress to fund affordable homes within Clinton during the ’80s. The event is held to celebrate her life and community spirit.
