• Basketball homecoming king and queen candidates at Clinton High School for 1996 included Mindy Scales, Amy Boone, Brook Castle, Kaci Klein, Reggie Weil, Jess Arnold, Rachman Moore and Jon Hunter.
• On the 100th day of school, Clinton kindergarteners learned the true meaning of 100 when a crisp $100 dollar bill was turned over to Jean McGinnis with Opportunities Inc. Giving her the mullah was Principal Darrell Trissell who issued a special thanks to all of the parents who helped.
