In the sport of baseball, rivalries run deep and for the annual match-up between the Clinton Reds and the Weatherford Eagles, it remains true.
Clinton (6-14) took down the Eagles 2-1 Monday on the road in a defensive battle that snapped an eight-game losing streak for the Reds.
For Coach Kelly Gaunt, he said his team had an overall great performance in the rivalry game.
