An Oklahoma State Senate candidate was found dead Thursday morning after being reported missing, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Barry Dwaine Christian, 54, of Sayre, was discovered by Beckham County deputies deceased in a vehicle around 9:45 a.m. Thursday in the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area, just south of Erick. OSBI special agents processed the scene and gave a positive identification of Christian.
Christian was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
