The Stamp Out Hunger food drive is a single-day food event happening this weekend, as coordinated by the United States Postal Service.
This week Oklahoma residents may receive a plastic donation bag in their mailboxes with a card listing instructions.
On Saturday, residents can place out bags of food items by their mailbox before their letter carriers arrive and have it picked up. Each donation stays local by going directly to local food pantries that work with the community, as well as partners of the Regional Food Bank.
