Only one official item was on the agenda Wednesday for the Clinton Hospital Authority’s special meeting at Clinton Regional. It was an 18-minute executive session including the authority and City Attorney Ryan Meacham with the public and press barred from attending.
Once the group came back to the Weichel Room, Chairman Ken Baker asked if there was a public report from the executive session.
“I’d like to make a motion that we authorize City Attorney Ryan Meacham to continue negotiations with regard to the Len Lacefield claim,” said Chris Jones, trustee. Lacefield, Clinton Regional Hospital’s former CEO, was terminated by the authority on Feb.
